Trip to Rock City

This week is our Spring Break, so today we took a day trip to Rock City Gardens, Ga. The last time we went was November of 2004. It was a beautiful and warm spring day. It was so clear at the top of Lookout Mountain you could really see the skyline well. Andrew couldn't remember the last time we were there (he was 4) and he was so fascinated that you could actually SEE seven states from the top of the mountain. (KY, TN, GA, NC, SC, AL, & VA). If you have been to Rock City, but it has been a while, you would enjoy it again (we did). if you have NEVER been, you have got to go. And for all of my TEACHER friends out there, FYI... if you take your picture Teacher ID, you will get in FREE and your family gets in for 1/2 price! What a deal!
After Rock City, we drove through downtown Chattanooga and stopped at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The kids had never been there before. We didn't eat @ the restaurant, but just looked around. It was a fun family day! :)

I've never been, but we need to go. Love the pics. I have also wanted to go to the Lost Sea, have you all ever done that?

I went to the Lost Sea as a 7th grader on a field trip. I would like to take the kids someday - we drove past it coming home from Chattanooga. You could actually do both on the same day. You all would LOVE Rock City - so many "photo spots".
